I dont know, 3 or 4 bedroom, 2 bath maybe? dont need a pool or golf course or gated community or anything like that. I dont have the money to buy anything like this right now so i dont know exactly what my spending limit is. I figure I could grind my ass off, and if i got together enough money to make the down payment I have a few friends out there who need a place to live and I could just have them live with me and basically pay the monthly loan payment with rent. So I don't know exactly what im looking to spend, just kinda trying to get a ball park figure of how much it would cost. It seems like a great time to invest in this type of shit. Only thing for sure is that I would want it to be in a decent part of town.

You're probably around 200-250 for a nice 4 bedroom house. Here's the problem that I'm debating on myself while I look at a Vegas house. Right now things are cheap but it's going to get cheaper, probably another year before we bottom out. The problem is when the market hits bottom it will be nearly impossible to get a loan. So you have to choose whether you want to spend a little more now and get a loan easier, or wait to save a few bucks and possibly not get funded. Personally I'm leaning towards waiting, but I have very good credit and if I'm forced to could pay cash as a very last resort.

Are you looking at living there full time? Poker full time? Trust me when I say this because I just went through it for my new PA house... getting a loan as a professional gambler is pretty difficult no matter what your credit and bank accounts look like.
