What limit are they playing... and anyone know who any of the players are?

Any other casino's doing this?

Who are the commentators?

Yeah, that's a good question. What limit are they showing? Or are they showing tournaments? If it's a limit I play, maybe I'll go down there and be part of the broadcast one of these days.

I went to see if they archive the footage, but apparently not. Strangely enough, I see an ad for "www.poker-babes.com" on the side, which is somewhat surprising.

For those that don't know, "poker-babes.com" is the personal website of Shirley Rosario, a mid-limit prop player at the Bike. She has her own poker blog, self-written articles about big-name players, etc. I was surprised to see the Bike advertising her site on their official page, but I guess she sweet-talked someone into it. I doubt she paid for the ad.

If it is only Hold 'Em, I might go, especially if Buss is in the game!

I'll post about it on NWP if I decide to do it.

It is "live" but cached and probably 5 minutes after the real hand is played.

The game definitely was NOT 400/800 or mixed... it was NLHE, and I'm guessing 5/10... no Forrest or Habib either. I logged on when the announcers were at break, so it was hard to hear the bet amounts and the vid wasn't clear enough to see the chip value's, but when they finally came back I heard them say the biggest stack was 1600 and then when seat nine bet one of her stax I heard the dealer say "100". They kept calling one guy "fat boy", asian guy. Average stack was a few hundred, and there were a few guys w/ less than that, only 1-2 players w/ more than 1k.

Druff, how will we know who you are? Bottle of H&S as your card holder? Would like to see you play, then come on here w/ a blow by blow - good learning tool.

The BB was $5...SB was either 2 or 3. Buy-in was $200.

Worst plays of the night:

Man lays down 33 on a board of 983 (two clubs)...opponent showed AA (ouch!)

Man calls an all-in bet with 85d on J6J board, none of which were diamonds (he said later he thought the 6 was an 8 or something...even still, wtf?).

Seat 9 was showing uber cleavage and the overhead camera zoomed in on her stack a few times...

They probably show different games on different nights. The 400-800 there doesn't go every day. It may only go once a week when Buss is there, like it used to at the Hustler a few years ago.

I hate dignifying Holla's retarded comments with a response, but in case anyone is wondering, I easily have the roll to play 400-800. In fact, I could play even higher, but truthfully I wouldn't feel comfortable at a game higher than that. It's also a matter of keeping somewhat consistent with my typical limits. I would hate the feeling of blowing an entire month (or more) of winnings in a single session.

Usually I will play up to 150-300 with no problem, and higher than that only if there's a donk in the game. I'm not guaranteeing that I would play the 400-800 if I went down there, but I would consider it, depending upon what the game looked like. Playing with Jerry Buss would also be fun, which would be an added incentive. I used to watch that table at the Hustler as a 40-80 table, and wish I could sit in the game.

In any case, I'll tell people if I'm going, and I'll give a general description of myself so you can spot me on cam. I'm a 32-year-old white guy, so that by itself makes me easier to pick out.

Is this game normal for CA cardrooms? Donkified and loose?

Not dure if I heard right... they just mentioned that the 400/800 will be on tomorrow night?
