Is it not my constitutional right to hve the freedom of choice to play an exciting and fun game of poker if I choose? This is a country that was founded on freedom and what is gained by taking away my right to play online poker?

Many leading academics at the world's best universities agree that poker, unlike all other casino games, is a true game of skill that is not pure gambling (with enough skill, one can make a profit / living).
The US will be able to limit minors' access, garner significant revenues from taxes and regulatory fees from providers, and decriminalize something that should be perfectly legal.
