its that time of year again...

...the lapc!

the time of year when all the animals come out of their cages, the time of year that we pop bottles of cristal, lock the doors and kick it up, the time of year when even the biggest nits will find their inner animal, people are going to go broke, people will get pumped up, this is the most important time of year in the life of the limit holdem player

things were looking slow at the commerce for a while, looked like the economy had finnaly hit poker, 150/3 and 2/4 seemed to be the "big" games and they didnt even go every day, you can always trust the lapc to bring the animals out though

first day we got a solid 4/8 with several people playing 30+ hours, i only expect it to get better, i dont see a lot of 1k/2k action happening this year, but i dont need it around me anyway

the edge in the lapc comes from good management, playing short sessions for the most part, being willing to book small losses, but pounding the burried animals when you are winning, staying healthy and focused, and not getting lost in the gambling frenzy that is going on around you, this is my time to get out, to quote devmo, "2010 is the year of the white tiger!"

in other news, i gave up on the smoking bet, there are simply more important things to be worried about right now, workout bet is still on and im on schedule, feeling good, ready to crush souls in the lapc

i told dustin if he edits my blog or puts a single piece of punctuation or capitization in it i wont be blogging for him anymore, if you are a nit, dont read it, do something productive with your life

this is a busy time of year, probably dont expect too many blogs from me in the next few months

Dude you need help. You gave up the smoking bet because there are "simply more important things to be worried about right now"?!?!?! What is more important than stopping a habit that will destroy your health and eventually kill you?!?!?!? Losing money you don't even have?? Popping bottles of Cristal that you can't afford??? Kicking it up so you get even further in debt??? Staying up for 3 days in a row in a place that barred you for life??? A place that you said is full of miserable and hateful and fake people?? A place where you lost a sum of money that would have set you up for life had you any brains at all??? I've got news for you, the 1k/2k action happened a few years ago because you were giving your Borgata money away and people were lining up to take it!!! No one else appears to be willing to tell you this so I will; You're not a very good poker player. You are just a kid who got lucky once, had 2 million and now it's gone. Jerry Yang won the WSOP Main Event. Does that mean he's a good poker player??? Learn from it and move on. You are still young and have your whole life ahead of you. I saw you in Vegas. You look like shit. Get away from the poker life because if you don't it's going to consume and kill you. I am sorry if this is harsh, but it needs to be said for your own good. Good luck.
